HISTORICAL CRISIS COMMITTEE
The Historical Crisis Committee (HCC) is a perfect place to let your historical knowledge shine through intriguing debates and atypical collaborations on unique and influential topics. These topics are real events that have occurred at some point throughout human history! This committee will include international relationships between countries or people, how these affairs determine what will happen going forward, and whether or not our historical crisis will be resolved. This committee follows standard crisis ROP, and committee sessions will include directives to take quick action and solve the crisis!

LANGLEY FOSTER: DIRECTOR
MEET YOUR DAIS
Langley is a sophomore at Inglemoor High School (go Vikings!) and is elated to be serving as your director for HCC at NSDMUN 2025! She began her MUN journey way back in middle school, and ever since then has absolutely loved it. Not only has she learned a ton about niche topics from rural communities in Cuba to Sierra Leone’s interests in the Arctic, but she’s also made so many fun memories. From getting lost in Vancouver in the rain (but finding a great burger place) to dancing at her first delegate social, MUN will always be a unique experience. When she isn’t busy writing position papers or debating in committee, Langley can be found running at cross country practice, procrastinating at homework, going to basketball practice, or playing the drums. She hopes that everyone will learn a lot and have fun this year in HCC, and she can’t wait to meet you all at the first iteration of NSDMUN!
Kamya Jagtap is a sophomore at Woodinville High School and is beyond excited to serve as your Chair of HCC! Attending her first conference as a freshman, she was too hesitant to raise her placard but nevertheless quickly took a passion to MUN. From impromptu Starbucks runs at conferences to meeting new people, Kamya’s love for MUN only grew more. Outside of MUN, she spends her time exploring new restaurants with friends, competitive dancing, and telling herself the night before a test that she’ll recognize the answer on the actual test. She can’t wait to meet you all and make the best memories with the best committee!
KAMYA JAGTAP: CHAIR
Mia Chang is a sophomore at Inglemoor High School and is beyond excited to be your assistant director for HCC at NSDMUN 2025! Starting as a shy, scared, and socially awkward delegate at her first-ever conference her freshman year, she is unfortunately still socially awkward but no longer scared of the eye-opening world that MUN has to offer! When not being immersed in MUN duties, Mia can be found listening to the same song 24/7 until she’s sick of it, taking extensive naps with her dogs, consuming a concerning amount of Wendy’s unsweet iced tea, going on runs in an attempt to run away from her stress, and somehow continuously regretting her procrastination choices over and over again. After discovering her love for all the amazing things that make MUN what it is, she has learned that it takes a team to create solutions to the pressing issues in our world today and hopes to help delegates deepen their love for MUN in this committee. Above all, she can’t wait to meet all the delegates that will bring HCC to life!
